Job description

We are seeking a smart, motivated full-time Vice President of Finance. We’re searching for an experienced VP to join our team of high-performing professionals and keep our finances positioned for continued success. The VP of Finance will have a day-to-day, ongoing impact on company operations, helping us to analyze, strategize, and grow our financial position. This team member not only will understand current accounting practices and trends, but also have experience adapting to change and growth. As a member of senior management, the VP of Finance will be comfortable in a leadership role that requires clear and effective communication skills.

Pay: $190,000 - $210,000

Location: Lewisville office (Hybrid)


  • Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the company's long-term goals
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and analysis to enhance financial performance
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with GAAP and regulatory requirements
  • Identify and manage business risks and maintain an effective internal control environment
  • Manage the company's capital structure and relationships with financial stakeholders
  • Streamline financial processes and systems to enhance operational efficiency
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development
  • Serve as a key member of the executive team, contributing to strategic decision-making and presenting financial results to the Board of Directors
  • Maintain annual Employee Stock Ownership Program valuation and compliance


  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master's preferred)
  • CPA certification
  • Proven experience as a senior finance executive in a distribution or logistics company
  • 10 or more years of accounting and financial management experience
  • Strong analytical skills, business acumen, and the ability to communicate financial insights effectively
  • Excellent leadership skills and personal integrity
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and visual communication skills
  • Understanding of advanced accounting, regulatory issues, and tax planning
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
